Oak Bay for All brings progressive neighbours together to nourish community and belonging across generations, amplify perspectives that are underrepresented in local conversations, and envision an inclusive Oak Bay.
We started organizing intentionally in the fall of 2025, invigorated by the possibilities and potential for Oak Bay in initiatives like the Active Transportation Strategy, Official Community Plan, Carnarvon Park Redesign, and more.
We organize in joyful, fun, inclusive, accessible, family-friendly ways. We are particularly excited to connect with our neighbours who are also renters, children, students, parents, racialized people, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, and other folks whose voices are underrepresented in local policy discussions.
Our core group is currently made up of settlers on the unceded lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking peoples of the Songhees and Xwsepsum (Esquimalt) Nations and the SENĆOŦEN-speaking peoples of the W̱SÁNEĆ Nations. We live, we learn, we play, and we do our work on these occupied territories.
